More than the usual scenic packages, travelers all over the world are looking for more adrenaline-packed activities and excitement. They now treat adventure activities as purchasable holiday packages.

1. To promote awareness for the Philippines as an adventure travel destination
2. To educate industry stakeholders (tour operators / travel agents, guides, suppliers, adventure/outdoor/recreational clubs/societies etc.) on adventure travel and its potentials.
3. To foster and strengthen networking and relationship between adventure travel providers and suppliers.
Target participants are industry stakeholders (tour operators/outdoor/recreational clubs/societies), tourism councils and local government units (LGUs), media who may be interested or planning to go into adventure travel promotion.
Foreign and local speakers who are experts in adventure travel will be invited as lecturers/resource speakers.
MR. RUSSELL WALTERS

Mr. Walters has been involved in the adventure travel industry since the early 1980’s. An accomplished kayaker and registered Maine Guide, Mr. Walters has experience on the east and west coasts of the U.S., including a four year term as General Manager for (ARS in Angeles Camp, California.
He has worked as a consultant to Away.com (an internet travel company) and as co-founder and president of Riversearch.com, (an online marketing alliance) representing the premiere rafting outfitters of the world.
President, Zola Consulting Services, Founder, Adventure Tourism Development Index, Founder, Off the Radar.
Ms. Christiana Heyniger founded Xola Consulting in 2004 to work with entrepreneurial businesses in the adventure tourism industry. Xola (which means “stay in peace”) provides research and consulting services to adventure travel companies and tourism boards around the world.
