SOME UNIQUELY DIFFERENT FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

One of the most uniquely-different and fun-filled amusement parks found anywhere! Jungle Joe’s World encompasses a total of 60 hectares within its estate, of which only 6 hectares is built-out. This ground-breaking theme park is located in a lushly-green, tropical-forest area of Subic Bay, only minutes away from the main Subic Freeport Zone. This park is easily accessible from the main business center area of Subic. Designed and built to U.S. amusement park standards, Jungle Joe's will provide an unparalleled experience for kids and grownups alike.

BUNKERS OF FUN

A large portion of the first phase of this amusement park is built around old U.S. Military ammunition bunkers, designed to be extreme tough and even bomb-proof. These bunkers were previously camouflaged by heavy-forested vegetation to prevent enemy aircraft from detecting their location. After some very-talented and magical transformations, they are now colorfully painted sporting giant, life-sized fiberglass animals and prehistoric creatures. These bunkers of varying-themed, brightly-painted, air-conditioned, entertaining halls of fun will surprise you with their creativity and meticulous design. Some of the activities you will find in these bunkers include: interactive kiddy rides, novelty shops, discotheque, and a comfortable beanbag seated theater and other uniquely-themed, interestingly exhilarating attractions.

EDUCATIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGING

This theme park is more than simply fun and games, its intention is also to educate about the many intricate-details of Mother Nature’s eco-systems and to showcase various genres of Filipino talent. In the near future Jungle Joe’s will designate a special area of the park as an artisan village. The owners are also planning on providing scholarships for talented Filipino individuals. Besides the educational aspect of the park, you will find that it also promotes good health through physical activity. Most of the attractions focus on getting kids and adults alike to expend some human energy in an effort to get all of us off of the couch, away from the computer screen and television encouraging a more active lifestyle. Your family will also enjoy unparalleled interaction with nature through long forested jungle hikes and guided expeditions with native Aeta guides.

OWNERS DREAM COMES TRUE

The concept of this extremely-distinctive amusement park is the brainstorm of owner and CEO, M. Yvette Ocampo-Desiongco. Her travels through Europe and the United States have greatly-influenced and helped contribute to the uniqueness and overall high-quality standard of this park. She hopes that her contribution can help to bolster a Subic that becomes an international destination for tourists from all of Asia and beyond. She has big yet very-possible hopes for her beloved-homeland and entirely believes Subic can become the next Singapore.

ONGOING DEVELOPMENT

Keep in mind, the above attractions are only the beginning of phase one of this master-planned, world-class theme park. As a testament to Yvette’s commitment to progress and growth, promising continual developments for this facility, Jungle Joe’s World will be in a continuous state of development. THE METAPHORIC STORY OF JUNGLE JOE

Jungle Joe is a fictional monkey-character, with a life-story modeled-after a plausible Filipino experience. He is cute Philippine Macaque Monkey, which is native to the Subic Bay area. His tail is long as is the variety of Macaque Monkey that’s found in Subic Bay. The Subic Macaque’s tail is the longest of all of these species of monkeys found elsewhere in the world.

As the story goes, Jungle Joe was born in Subic, but due to the ash, upheaval and destruction as a result of the 1991 Mt Pinatubo eruption, he was forced to migrate to the United States with his family. After a long 16 years abroad, he began to feel homesick, missing-out on much of his native land’s traditions and cultural experiences. Jungle Joe wanted to once again become connected with his roots and extended-family back in the Philippines. So he set-off and made the trip to his grandparent’s house back in Subic Bay. In a state of fascination, he toured-around the Subic Bay area where he happened to see a man throw a cigarette butt in the forest which caused a small fire. As a good Samaritan wanting to protect his native forest, Jungle Joe managed to extinguish the fire. His good deed did not go unnoticed as others witnessed his passion for the environment and his bravery. He gained the admonition and appreciation of the Subic Bay Fire Service Rangers. This acknowledgement awakened a deep calling from within causing him to take-on the self-proclaimed title of Environmental Warrior.

He is now a champion of the cause of ensuring lasting eco-responsible attitudes through information and learning programs that support green and environmentally-responsible attitudes. He wants the Subic Bay Wilderness area to remain pure and clean and is always willing to push forward his lectures, programs of recycling, responsible-development that help to bolster a far-sighted understanding of the environment we all are part of.

AS YOU LEAVE

At the close of every day at Jungle Joe’s World, you will be treated to a tribal dance by members of parks tribal dance team. This dance is performed to a special composition composed especially for Jungle Joe’s by award-winning composer Jessie Lasaten. Then you can enjoy the fun and fantastic confetti display as you exit.
