Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co - Clark Philippines

Back in 1962 a group of businessmen opened Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company in Binodno Manila. In 1963, the bank had its first external branch at Divisoria. Then the far away city in the south of Davao was the recipient of the next branch. Things progressed significantly when in 1970 the bank opened its first international branch in Taiwan’s capital city Taipei. By 1997 branches and offices amounted to 100 and opened its new head office in the fast growing financial capital of the Philippines Makati. Metrobank has many subsidiaries including Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation, Philippines Savings Bank and Metrobank Card Corporation to name a few.
